Is MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA SCREENING TEST (FMGE test) is compulsory for Indian students who finished MBBS in abroad ?

Hi

Yes ,fmge screening examination is mandatory for all those who complete their MBBS from foreign countries except from those countries listed below:-

-) Australia,
-)Canada,
-) New Zealand,
-) UK
-) US .

So, if you complete your MBBS from above countries then you don't need to go through fmge screening.

In order to get a provisional / permanent registration from National Medical Council or State Medical Council one needs qualifying fmge . To qualify one needs 150 marks out of 300 in fmge.

-)FMGE 2021 June will be conducted on 18th June 2021 , the application form for FMGE 2021 is expected to be released soon at its official website i. e nbe.edu (http://nbe.edu) ,in or natboard.edu.in (http://natboard.edu.in) .
