is medical student give kvpy and what about its maths level

Medical student seat for the sx stream which is for the 12 and 1st year students. There is a choice a bio and maths in that particular paper so a student from the pcb stram can leave the maths section.
Asking about the level of difficulty the maths section is on a little harder side.
