Doing B.Tech in Metallurgy from NIT Jamshedpur is a good choice. The faculty are good and they provide the appropriate content. There are plenty of opportunities in Metallurgy and some of the top companies like TATA, Vedanta steel etc visit the college to recruit students. The placement record in NIT Jamshedpur is good when compared to other NIT's. But you should work hard and make use of four years and gain knowledge.
