No MHT CET is not required, if you want to take admission in BAMS course in Maharashtra instead NEET is mandatory for BAMS so you should appear for NEET and you can appear in NEET if you satisfy it's eligibility criteria which is discussed below :-

You must have passed or appearing in your class 12th/PUC with Physics, Biology and Chemistry as mandatory subjects and also you should have your minimum aggregate of 50% separately in theory as well as practical part for Unreserved category, 40% for OBC/SC/ST and 45% for PwD certificate holders. Also note that in your curriculum English subject should also be there.

As there is no upper age limit for NEET but there is minimum age limit for NEET which is 17 years which means that if you want to appear for NEET 2021 the you must have completed your 17 years on December 31st 2021, if all above eligibility criteria are fulfilled by you then you can appear for NEET UG 2021.

No, MHCET  is not required for BAMS in maharashtra. Admission BAMS is solely on the basis of your performance in NEET examination.

Also,

In Maharashtra in addition to MBBS BDS Ayush courses like BAMS, BHMS etc, BVSc, admission in BSC nursing is also through Neet examination.

In short, you don't need to to appear in MHTCET in addition to neet if you want to get admission in BAMS.
