Mining is considered as one of the best and oldest branch in bit sindri.



Talking of placements..  that too is very good.

Companies like vedanta, recruit top students on an avg package of 10-11 lakhs evry year.

Other than vedanta, Tata Steel, Jindal groups also hires a good number of students with good package.



Coming to academics, faculties have always been an issue in bit, but that's the case of all branches.

Some improvement have been seen, as new lecturers from holding degree from nit and iit have been hired.

This would probably improve faculties in coming years.



You'll get ample time to prepare for gate and IES n this college as attendance have never been an issue in this college.
