Generally mobile phones are allowed in hostels.
See, nowadays mobile phones are very popular and every student has smartphones. No doubt, after lockdown scenarios mobile and internet are the most crucial thing to look for apart from offline education. Many things are taught on YouTube with very clarity.
Look for the things that you can apply for in geberal life. Mlbile phones hold very much value in daily life. So, mobile phones are allowed. If your college does not allow mobiles then you should ask for the reason.
