No CET is not compulsory,it is only an optional exam for the FYJC admission, however those who will appear in the CET would be given priority in admission.Students who do not wish to appear for CET will get admission based on the merit of their Secondary school certificate result.Students who have cleared class 10 exam are eligible for the CET which is organised by the Maharashtra education board.However CET is not mandatory for all the candidates but preference will be given to Maharashtra FYCJ CET passed students.
The Maharashtra FYJC CET question paper will be based on the class 10 curriculum of the state board.The MHT CET exam will be available in 8 mediums.The CET exam will be optional and questions of 25 marks each in four subjects of mathematics, science, sociology,English will be asked for 100 marks

Click on the FYJC CET exam form.
Register using your name,mobile number,email ID etc.
Login and fill in the online application form.
Upload the required documents.
Make the application fee payment.
Download and take print out of filled application form for further reference.
