is mtech better or mba according to income source

Hello student ,

I will suggest you to go according to interest as both are specialised degree and have value in their own field .So su ppose if you like business dealing then you should go for MBA or if you are interested in the field of technology , then you should go for M.Tech .

Beside this MBA is good source of income as there are many such successful people. Business fetch us a fortune, not jobs and always add an advantage to the engineers whether it is in the form of experience or in seniority .

I would be comparing IIT Kanpur statistics to IIM Ahmedabad, statistics.

The answer is if you are deciding between the two, go for the one you are more interested in, to give you a rough idea of the status, this is with respect to the batch of MTech CSE only, I have not considered any other MTechs, all of which are really low

According to me IITs have a better package

We have to add the fact that IIMs have an fees of about 20 Lakhs (incl. food and accodmodation), while IIT Kanpur have a fees of about 50,000 once you take stipend into consideration. So considering you would like to pay this off over the next 5 years, you are better off doing an MTech CSE rather than an MBA.

It doesn't matter much , join the program you are more interested in, the variations are minor and your interest will play a larger part in the salary you get.
