Hello,
Yes, syllabus for both curriculum that is ncert and cbse are same. What is difference then? Well, the basic difference between CBSE and NCERT is that the former is the governing body whereas the latter is the publishing body or publisher. You can see that maximum CBSE schools in India follow the NCERT textbooks. It directs every school affiliated to it to follow the NCERT syllabus.
As a Student Point Of View the major difference between NCERT Syllabus and CBSE Syllabus is when we Go for exams we follow NCERT Books and give paper but CBSE Syllabus depends on whole CBSE related Syllabus which is not refereed to only NCERT + Some other books, which people don’t follow, because we know 80% of exam comes from NCERT and NCERT Books Cover up 80% of syllabus inside the CBSE Board.
Hope this helps!!
