Is ncert biology enough for neet?? Or any other reference book is needed

NCERT is recommended as the the book of choice by CBSE. And as far as NEET is concerned, I don't think you would be requiring any other book for acing the exam.

NCERT Biology is referred to as the "Holy Grail" of NEET and it is quite rightly said so, let me explain.



Every year in NEET, the questions in Biology are mostly always direct which form apparently 80-84/90 questions in the paper.



Even if you completely gulp down NCERT, and score those 82/90 questions perfectly, you biology score itself would be 328/360 which is actually quite appreciable and more than enough to get you a decent medical college.



And if you want to be a part of the toppers community, then you would be requiring an extra reference book in order to have an idea about those 08/90 questions.



So the choice is yours friend.

Thoroughly read NCERT Bio and solve 82/90 perfectly

Or

Search for an extra reference book to find those 08/90 questions whose answers you might not be sure of.

According to me Amith first you need to study Ncert for developing your basic concept and then you need one extra text book to elaborate your concept but before you study any help book you first need to study Ncert and then, for elaborate more your concept by solving more and more objective questions.
