Hello Shubhansh,

Yes the NCERT books are most important for JEE MAINS & JEE ADVANCED preparations.

The JEE exam is totally based on NCERT level and even JEE recommends to thoroughly study the NCERT . These books will help you to help you deeply understand your fundamental concepts. Also there are many question in JEE mains which are directly picked from NCERT books.

It does not matter which coaching class you join they will first teach the NCERT as its the foundation to JEE exam.

Also at the end of each chapter you can find the summary so that it can help in revising during your exam time.

It will be the most  beneficial if you study these books while preparing for this entrance exam.

For Chemistry, organic reactions and other organic conversions are directly asked from the NCERT book. So it is advised to take the base of NCERT level.

You should definitely study it for your better score.

Also other than this you need to study other reference books and study material provided by the coaching center , also don't forget to study past years papers to get a knowledge on time management.

Hello aspirant,

Yes NCERT is very important for JEE Main as well as Advanced. It will be correct to say that the base of every JEE advanced question is given in NCERT. It is also well known that every year at least 3 or 4 questions come directly from NCERT. Among the three subjects NCERT holds more importance for Chemistry. So read it thoroughly and it will surely benefit you.

Hey! If a student completely learn all the concepts of NCERT book he/she can easily clear the JEE Mains or JEE Advance but the difference is that NCERT contains concept in little complex form and on the other hand reference books provide these concepts in simplified form. Hope this may help you.
