Hello,
For the JEE Mains test, NCERT Chemistry is sufficient.
Inorganic- It is the highest score of the three, but it needs a lot of knowledge, particularly in the areas of p block, s block, d & f block, environmental chemistry, and hydrogen. If someone understands each point, fact, example, and reaction offered in these chapters, NCERT is more than competent for all of these areas.
There are also 2 to 3 problems that are straight NCERT sections, particularly from the sections s block, environ. chemistry, hydrogen, and d and f block. However, for chapters like chemical bonding, coord compounds, and metallurgy, class notes should be used in addition to the NCERT text.
Physical Chem: In the Mains paper, there are generally two theory-based questions from physical chemistry, which may be direct lines from the NCERT (Surface chemistry, Chemistry in Everyday life). The chapters mole concept, stoichiometry & redox (reaction oriented calculations), electro-chemistry, thermodynamic, kinetic, solution & colligative properties, and thermodynamics, kinetics, and solutions & colligative properties all require extra practise than others.
ORGANIC CHEMISTRY: Of the three, this is the most demanding. In the JEE Mains, there are 2- 3 questions that are direct lines from the NCERT, particularly for the chapters Biomolecules, Polymer, and Some Basic Techniques and Principles. All other issues, on the other hand, are largely mechanism-based and need a complete understanding of every mechanism, as well as the reaction of all reagents and the impact of the environment.
Hope it helped
