NCERT should be the base or the core which you should rely on. But, just NCERT will not help you get cracking marks. You ought to study from different books, may it be previous year question papers or question banks, or any study material from a reknowned institute. This will help you gain good marks. But, you should not go on reading everything. Know your syllabus and pattern well and then study. Smartwork is the key to success. Hope this helps.
