is ncert enough to crack neet?
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Hope you are doing well,
For biology
you must prefer only NCERT because all the question will come from that only you have no other better option. Reatld NCERT soo much that you should recognize the page if one line is given.
Both 11th and 12th NCERT are equally important don't feel like one is important and other is not .
For chemistry, NCERT is again must if you are doing NCERT perfect , you don't need any other thing but yesdo practice by solving as many reactions and problem for physical chemistry. And yes you have to do this regularly.
For physics NCERT is important for concept building read NCERT and solve problems from various books practice it daily.
Finally from where ever you are doing you must do it regularly.
Hope this would help you,
Thank you.
Hi
Ncert books are good for clearing basic concepts and overall for neet as well, especially when it comes to Neet Biology, NCERT Biology is not less than A Bible for Neet.
But ,
Are only NCERT books enough for scoring well? No because
----------) There are many topics which are difficult to understand directly from NCERT
----------) NCERT books don't have enough mcqs and numericals for practising
----------) Ncert books don't have questions as per neet examination pattern
So, in addition to NCERT, you will have to follow other books as well
The best books which you can go for neet examination are listed below Subjectwise :-
>>>>>> PHYSICS :-
*NCERT Physics textbooks for Class XI and XII
* Mtg NCERT at your fingertips for physics

*Physical Chemistry by OP Tandon :- Best for practising and mastering numericals in physical chemistry
*MS Chauhan (Organic) :- It is a great book to clear all your concepts regarding reactions in organic, their mechanism etc
>>>>>> BIOLOGY

*NCERT at your fingertips by mtg :- best for practicing MCQs for your neet

Dear Student ,
NCERT books will help you to build /.clear the concepts of the chapters given in NEET syllabus .But , to crack NEET with a good marks.. you need to study some reference books also which will help you to gain advanced knowledge of that specific subject . Like example, in Physics . Books of H.C Verma will help you to build your concept in more depth as well as you can practice the problems given there for a better Understanding .
on the other side, you need to give at least one mock test daily side by side with your preparation for developing Time management skills.
