Dear ayanthika

NCERT is a gold standard for all the competitive exams, you can depend on them only for understanding the concepts, for attempting questions you need solve mcqs from some of the good books like MTG etc also solve previous year questions.

NCERTs can help you build concepts. If you can understand concepts, NCERTs are enough. But, if you can't build concepts but rather rely on cramming reactions, it might not be sufficient. You can refer other books like OP Tandon. But, remember some questions are exact copy from NCERT text.

I would recommend you to solve at least 10 previous year question papers so that you can assess if you have conceptual knowledge or not.

Feel free to ask more.

All the best.

If you are practising from previous question papers and able to solve organic chemistry questions, I think that should be enough. I feel this is not the right time to start a whole new book. However, OP Tandon is the most preferred book on organic chemistry but it's quite lengthy and should be used only for reference.
Please also contact your teachers and ask them if they advise something else. Remember, your teachers are far more experienced than me and they definitely will advise you better.
All the best for NEET, dear friend.

NCERT gives you a gist of the multitude of topics that you are expected to know well. Questions are mostly concept oriented and are never asked as it is from the NCERT textbooks, the concept however can be similar to that given in the NCERT textbooks.

Please go through the previous years' papers to get a clearer picture of the sort of questions that are being asked lately.

Topics like organic chemistry demand practice, the more number of questions you confront the better it is.
