Dear candidate,
Physics NCERT of class 11th and 12th is enough but the only problem is that NCERT Physics does not have a adequate number of numerical problems. For theory, NCERT Physics is great since quite a few times, the questions of Physics are from direct lines of the book.
Now, even though the NEET consists of both theory and numerical problems, it is advised to practice numerical problems from some other book. This is so not because the numerical given in NCERT are not enough, but simply because one needs to have a proper hand at attempting numerical when one sees it and not panic just because it is a 'numerical' problem. And this would only come after having a good hold on the numerical which comes from practice.
So, for practice, you can either use DC Pandey or you can use the modules of some of the renowned educational institutes which prepare you for NEET. For DC Pandey, do note that you do not have to solve ALL the numerical, solve every 3rd or every 4th numerical so that you cover almost all the variety and also get a good practice.
Additionally, you must always make sure that once you have covered the syllabus, attempt the previous year questions, those are THE MOST IMPORTANT in your preparation.
Hope this gives you some idea about how to go about it, all the bets with your preparations!
Hi,
There is nothing like enough for NEET. But yes, I can guarantee you that after solving DC Pandey and NCERT thoroughly you would be able to solve 70–80% of the physics paper as every year there are some thought provoking questions which can be solved only by adequate practice and thinking in the right direction.
In addition to this, refer to previous year question papers and focus more on solving questions swiftly and accurately avoiding silly mistakes.
You might be preparing hard for NEET. It is important to note that the level of competition has become tougher. Hence it would be best if you have cleared all your queries in the best manner. It can be the right thing for you to concentrate on the different reference books that would help you to find yourself on a much knowledgeable side. By clearing all your queries, it would be possible to get the ultimate idea as to how it would be possible to attempt the different questions in the right way. If you refer DC Pandey, then it would be possible to solve objective type questions perfectly. So, you can find that it has led to making it much useful in getting the right idea on how to clear the exam without fail.
At the same time, you should also try to make your best effort to concentrate on time management. This is very important because this would help you to clear your paper on time. For Physics, you should try to make a good effort in concentrating important chapters like Kinematics, Oscillations and Waves, Heat and Thermodynamics, Electrostatics and Current Electricity, Magnetic Effect of Current and Magnetism, etc.
You should never try to overstress yourself because if you do so, it will make you weak. It is therefore very important to take the right decision to attempt the previous year’s question papers that would make you get the right information about the patterns of the questions that are asked in the exam. If possible, try to help your friends to solve their queries as this would help to find yourself free from any queries as well.
So, prepare well and wishing you all the best for NEET.
Hope this helps.
