Is NEET Compulsory for Physiotherapy ??
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Actually NO.
Some colleges conduct their own entrance exam while some colleges give admissions on the basis of your intermediate marks (12th).
Also, they won't ask you for your NEET score card or whether you've appeared in NEET or not, for admissions in BPT (Physiotherapy course). But it's better if you appear in NEET because it may help you getting admission in top colleges.
BPT is not under NEET.
Good Luck!
Hello Aspirant!
Candidates wishing to pursue the physiotherapy course are needed to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria listed below in order to apply for the course:
- Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification, completed from a recognized university, in the Science stream, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects.
- A minimum aggregate score of 50% or equivalent CGPA at the 10+2 level (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
- Interested eligible candidates are offered admission to the course in India mostly on the basis of performance in a relevant institute-specific entrance test. Often subsequently, two additional rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interview are held for assessment of the candidate’s general aptitude for the course.
Hope this helps you :)
