No, NEET is not compulsory/ mandatory for bsc nursing.
It's just that nursing colleges are free to choose NEET as their entrance examination but as of now only a few nursing colleges like BHU, Indian Army bsc nursing, JIPMER, IPU , etc have started accepting NEET for bsc nursing.
Without NEET, you can get admission through other entrance examinations like:-
AIIMS Bsc Nursing entrance exam
RUHS Nursing entrance exams
CMC Ludhiana BSc Nursing entrance
KGMU Nursing entrance exam
Uttarakhand Nursing Entrance Exam
