Yes! NEET is required for an MBBS Abroad Admission in 2020.

On 25th August 2020, MCI released an order stating that you can get admission abroad without NEET but there is a condition.

The condition is that you have to clear NEET either in 2020 or in 2021 even if you have taken admission without NEET. If you don't clear NEET you will not be able to sit in the MCI/NEXT exam for practicing in India after completing your MBBS.

Countries like Ukraine Russia Philippines Kyrgyzstan and others require a valid NEET score to take admission of an Indian student.

Even if you don't wish to come back to India, you should at least clear NEET meaning you should have cleared the cut off. 2019 cut off was 134 for every category.

If you even have 135 in 2019 NEET, you're eligible for Government University abroad.
