No, neet is not mandatory for bsc nursing.

For example,
Aiims is a government medical college and it offers admission in bsc nursing through its own entrance examination i. e aiims BSC nursing entrance exam, in other words neet is not mandatory.

Neet examination is mandatory for following courses only

• MBBS

• BDS

• Ayush courses( Ayurveda i. e BAMS , Unani i.e B. U. M. S, Siddha i. e BSMS, and Homeopathy i.e BHMS ) and

• veterinary i. e BVSc. . ( neet is mandatory for only all india quota bvsc seats offered through AIPVT counselling, as some states also have their own entrance like RPVT in Rajasthan for state quota seats)
