Hello,
NEET is an entrance examination for admission to MBBS, BDS and Ayush courses. You do not have to appear for NEET UG if you are seeking admission to Laboratory Technology course. To become a lab technician you need to study BMLT also known as Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology. The eligibility criteria is the a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Biology, Physics and Chemistry with minimum percentage of marks laid by the institute in which you are seeking admission. Each college has different eligibility requirement, the minimum percentage of marks required in the qualifying exam also varies so you need to check that before applying. Generally, 50%-60% aggregate marks are essential but still you need to check that before applying. The admission will be either based on marks scored in 10+2 or entrance examination conducted by the concerned authority. Depending on your interest you may also pursue Master's level course after passing in BMLT.
