Hi Kiran,
It was planned to conduct NEET twice in 2019, however this did not happen. The Ministry of Health raised some concerns regarding the novelty of the exam and how it would be diffficult for rural students to get admission if the exam was held twice.
However, to answer your question, there is no official information released yet about NEET being held twice or if it is online or offline in 2020. Stay tuned for more.
Hello Kiran,
National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) has been surrounded by a lot of chaos and confusion since it was first introduced in 2013. Until now, it was conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) but the responsibility has been shifted to National Testing Agency (NTA). Now coming to your question I don't think the exam will be held twice a year I will tell you why. Look As per the initial plan NEET was to be held twice a year, starting from 2019. However, the Ministry of Health raised few concern that conducting of the exam twice will decrease the novelty of the examination. It will make getting admission difficult for the rural candidates. After this it has been decided that NEET 2019 shall only be held once a year and in offline mode. In these lines it seems that even in 2020 , the exam will be held offline and once a year, in the month of may. I hope this was helpful. As I mentioned earlier, NEET has always been clouded with controversies. It is impossible to predict what will happen next. This is just my view and the official will soon confirm about the same.
