National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh has started it's academic year in the year 2015. So it is quite new compared to others. However, it has achieved recognition towrads its success. Careers360 has rated this college with AAA+ grade in the field of Engineering. Proper facilities are provided such as Library, separate hostels for boys and girls, Transport facilities to the local students, well maintained laboratories etc. The engineering programmes are backed up by renowned faculties and most of them are PhD Degree holders. Nowing coming to placement, it might not be so enriched like other well established NITs, but the placement record is pretty good. When the first batch was to be placed, around 22 companies came for recruitment while the highest package offered was 13 lakhs. Computer Science grabs most of the placements with an average salary package of 4.5 to 5.5 lpa.
