Both the modes of exam have their pros and cons. If you are planning to write the exam in the offfline mode, then one of the advantage that you have is that you will be able to go through all the questions at one go. As far as online exam is concerned, one of the advantage is that there are less chances of printing errors.
If you are appearing for the online exam, then you have the option to edit the answer, while this option is missing if you are writing the exam in offline mode. There might be a technical glitch if you are appearing for the online exam.
Having said that, based on your prepartion, you can assess for yourself in which mode will you be most comfortable while writing the JEE Main exam and opt for that mode while appearing for the JEE Main exam.
On the flip side, Online works best where you can check if you left out any questions and you can check timer as well to gauge how much speed you need take up to complete the paper.
Both of them are really good ways, but online should be the game changer as it has more benefits over offline and can help you reasses questions where you feel you have committeed mistakes.
The software generates answers accordingly and for offline sometimes the software is unable to orocess answers if not marked properly.
offline is the best. you can handle easily paper, and more comfortable than online.
