TOEFL and IELTS are the English language proficiency tests which are mandatory for non-native english speakers to get into an abroad university. TOFEL exam consists of LSRW (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) section with 30 marks for each section and with an overall score of 120 marks. Most of the top Universities look for a score of 100 marks and it is highly recommended to get a score of 105+ in TOFEL. Dear Madhuri, TOEFL is only a test that tests your English Proficiency to study or work in a Native English speaking country. You need to select a University of your choice, check if you fulfil their eligibility criteria and then start off with an application form. Your TOEFL score will also play a role in the kind of Institution you can get into. Because low TOEFL score cannot get you into a good University.
