So with regard to your query, YES students who had completed their open education in the intermediate from a recognized board are also eligible for the EAMCET exam. As per the eligibility criteria of the EAMCET exam, the candidates must have completed their 10+2 from any recognized board, and if you had done your open education from a recognized board, then you are completely eligible for the exam.

Any student who has passed their intermediate level exam from the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana is eligible to take the EAMCET exam, according to the eligibility requirements. Your minimum age requirement is 16 years, and you must pass your intermediate exam with a minimum cumulative score of 45%.
Any candidate who passes an exam that is recognized by the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana board of intermediate education as being an equivalent to the intermediate level exam may also sit for the exam.
