Yes other state candidates can also apply for Jipmer.
Eligibility for appearing jipmer
The candidate should be an Indian.
The age if the applicant must be minimum 17 years or above, there is no upper age limit.
The candidates appearing for class xii exam can also appear for jipmer 2024 exam.
The students must have passed class xii with minimum 50% aggregate marks with physics, chemistry and biology as core subjects , they must score minimum 150 marks in physics, chemistry and biology.
NRIs and foreign candidates can also apply for jipmer ,
Condition is that the NRIs and foreigners must be registered under section 7A of Citizenship act 1995.
They must present OCI ( overseas citizens of India) as a proof while applying for jipmer. They must submit the certificate issued by the association of Indian universities, Delhi .
