is PCM compulsory in class 11 to join for BDes?

see it is not compulsory to have physics, chemistry and mathematics in 10+2 level to join bachelor in design course. however students from arts, commerce, science may also join bachelors in design course. however there is institutional eligibility criteria which is application for admission. some of the popular b.des entrance exam is as follows:

B.Des (Graphic Design) eligibility criteria are

Candidates should have passed 10+2 successfully in any stream from a recognised board in India.

Candidates should have at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate to be eligible for admission to B.Des (Graphic Design) course.
It is not necessary that the candidate should have PCM in their 10+2 level to be eligible for B.Des course. B.Des (Graphic Design) admission is generally offered on the basis of university/institute level on the basis of your 10+2 level score or on the basis of a national level entrance examination. These tests may be conducted on online or offline mode depending on the college/university or entrance examination.
