First of all, none of the indian college prepares brilliant students in mechanical field. In case of PES, it is a good college for mechanical engineering because of its good location. Many good companies such as Bosch, Toyota, Tata motors , Hero Moto corp etc come for recruitment which makes it for engineers finding his/her good destination.
