Dear student,

The job opportunities after pursuing diploma in pharmacy are:

  1. Pharmacist in a hospital

  2. Drug inspector at a hospital

  3. Work as a drug inspector or pharmacist in government sector

  4. Open a medicine retail shop

  5. Work at a pharmacy store

  6. Work in a drug manufacturing company

  7. Work in the education sector

  8. Pursue higher studies, that is, B.pharma

If people are telling you that the course you opt is not worth you time and you would not be earning well for it ,then I will suggest that you just ignore them as the diploma in pharmacy is the complete as self sufficient course. The employment rate is high and the course and curriculum are gaining popularity day by day.

Syedasheemamohsin6639 Hey Syedasheema,
Sorry for the misunderstanding, here are the job you can go for after Docrate in Pharmacy:

A drug inspector’s salary ranges from Rs. 3,50,000-6,00,000 annually.

Analytical Chemist: To become an analytical chemist, the individual must be well versed in bioanalysis, forensic science, environmental analysis, clinical analysis, and materials analysis. Their job is to study the test the chemical composition and behaviours of many different salts. An analytical chemist earns around Rs. 2,50,000-5,00,000 per year.

Retail Pharmacist: Commonly seen around us, a retail pharmacist provides healthcare advice and supplies prescription and non-prescription medication to the consumers. Retail pharmacists are mostly recruited by independent pharmacies, pharmacy chains, etc. Their salary may vary from Rs. 2,00,000-4,00,000 annually.

Medical Writer: A medical writer writes scientific documents on drugs and/ or diseases according to their research. Their writings may involve publication articles, promotional literature, content for healthcare websites, magazines or news articles. A medical writer must be up to date with the advancements in medicine and healthcare. Depending on their expertise, a medical writer can earn around Rs. 3,50,000 annually.

And like other courses of Pharmacy this course has also gained very popularity for the year 2008 and it is a prerequisite for PhD aspirants. So no need to worry you will have a very vast field to concur after the course and just ignore the people saying negative stuff about the course.
Hope this helps you!
