Hello dear,
The minimum requirements for a PhD in Sociology include a Master's degree from an institution recognised by the UGC, or any other degree in Sociology with at least a 55 percent score, and passing a university- or national-level entrance exam. Exams at the national level, include the UGC NET, UGC CSIR NET, GATE, SLET, or university entrance tests that include a written exam and a personal interview; certain universities also provide merit-based admissions for PhD in Sociology.
