Dear Aspirant,

As you are preparing for judiciary exam General Studies become a really important section for you, and in this section Indian Polity becomes a major part. The book which you are currently referring for polity, which is Laxmikanth is really a good book and is suggested by many experts to refer. Laxmikanth is one of the most popular and detailed books on this subject and has maintained its position for many years. If you have limited time and want to refer to only one book then yes you can concentrate on Laxmikanth, but apart from Laxmikanth, other good books which you can also refer for your exam are,

1. Introduction To The Constitution Of India, by Dr. Durga Das Basu

2. Our Constitution’ by Subhash C. Kashyap

3. Our Parliament – Subhash Kashyap

4. Objective Indian Polity: General Studies – Paper I by Laxmikanth

5. Indian Polity by Spectrum, and

6. NCERT books of 9th,10th,11th and 12th

I hope this information was useful to you.

Thank You and good luck for your future.

Dear Kannu Brawed,If you want to refer to the NCERT books then you can refer to the older version if there is no such vast difference between the older and the newer edition of the books. For preparing polity you can refer to the NCERT books of Democratic politics provided in class 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th.
