Hii..

As you ask about power absorbed by resistance and power dissipated by resistance.... so power absorbed by resistor and power dissipated by resistor are two different term .

when we talk about power absorbed by resistor its mean that power are consumed by the system to do some useful work and.... when we talk about power dissipated by assistant it means that because of some reason power waste in the form of heat and not do any useful work for system.

The power absorbed by the resistance is the amount of energy it absorbs per unit time and power dissipiated by resistance is the amount of energy per unit time. By the definition they are not the same.
