Is presidency college, Chennai good for MA economics?

  • Presidency College is one of the eldest and experienced college having good faculties.
  • Their intake capacity is 25 students. and the fees there is very low.
  • You don't need to sit for any entrance exam there. Your admission will be on Merit and Counselling.
  • For the master degree in economics, you need the economics combination in degree concern degree.

  • Next to no chance of doing MSc economics with a science graduate.
  • For doing MA Economics one can do either regularly or distance mode.

I have asked many students about the college and their academics. I have received mixed responses. Some say it's moderate, some even suggest a big NO because of the infrastructure and the faculties to some extent. I will suggest you to concern the professors you know before going there and if you know any of the students you should ask him/her.
