Well, career360 rank predictor gives the generalized idea according to your marks, which you may have calculated using the answer key of various institute.
What career360 is doing, they are taking the past data into consideration

And based on different statistical data and algorithm they are predicting the rank.When the rank predictor in 2016 compared with the actual results, analysis came out in the range of 75% that is a good one.So we can believe on rank predictor.
