Refering ncert for JEE mains will be absolutely correct but if you are targeting JEE advanced then you have to refer more material along with NCERT as Ncert will not be able to cover the competitive level questions and concepts like you will not be able to study about Beckmann rearrangement through ncert in chemistry,l- hospital rule in calculus in maths through NCERT which are the main part of JEE advanced . syllabus.
