is robotics taught in any iit college which one is best
Hello ,
Robotics is taught in IIT for your Masters degree , and of the best IITs offering Robotics is-
1. IIT Hyderabad , it has well developed Robotics Research labs and equipment for innovative projects etc.
2. IIT Kanpur , it has established a center called The center of Robotics , best for your research interests.
But in order to get into the Masters course you have to appear GATE and gain a good score and prepare for your interview round.
Thank you
Hi,
1.IIT Kanpur: Offered by department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur has a center called The Center for Robotics, established in 1989 through a grant of 5 million from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, dedicated to Robotics. It offers Masters degree in Robotics Engineering (BE or BTech) as well.
IIIT-A offers an M.Tech in Information Technology with a specialisation in Robotics with a strong focus on research and development. The programme offers core courses, specialisation-related electives, institute electives and supervised research exposition. For the Masters, the thesis is published in research publications or patent or prototype technology development. The course model includes two semester thesis work. It also has an M.Tech. and PhD dual degree in Robotics.
IIIT Hyderabad has a Robotics Research Lab which aims to work on research problems and innovative projects that extend the state-of-the-art in robotics. The centre’s research focuses in the areas of mobile and aerial robotics, robotic vision, mechanism design and multi robotic systems. The lab is well equipped with robot platforms and advanced sensors. The centre has been funded by various organisations both private, public and government, including BARC, CAIR, Renault-Nissan, CVRDE, DRDO, DST, DIT and by IIIT Seed Grants. The Robotics Research Centre also collaborates with well-known organizations and research labs such as CAIR, Bengaluru and BARC, Mumbai.

IISc has a department called Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber Physical Systems established in 2011, which has a research in robotics and automation. The centre is funded by a philanthropic grant by Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions, India and also receives targeted and project-oriented funding from other funding agencies. It focuses on experimental and theoretical research to gain a deep understanding of key cyber-physical system (CPS) components. The centre brings together expertise from various departments and in conjunction with in-house research staff and students to develop and apply CPS concepts in the areas of IoT enabledsocio-technical systems, autonomous navigation of unmanned vehicles and machine learning.
Hope this helps
Wish you luck
