NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Hey there,
I will not say that reading only NCERT will be enough for the preparation of NEET as there is no limit to study and hard work. Preparing for medical exam requires determination hard work along with the smart work.
Time management is must. For biology, ncert is the top priority and the aspirant must be thorough with each lines, definitions and terms given in the textbook.
Firstly, clear your basics as they will prove to be a foundation for the preparation. Repetitive revision should be done in order to maintain the consistency of each subjects. For chemistry and physics, practice as much numericals as you can. Also, solve previous years paper.

If you started reading ncert and understand its language.. It's very good for your preparation but only ncert is not enough because after completing ncert, you need to solve some new books like mtg guide which help you to understand about your preparation and you will get idea about the questions asked in exam..

SCERT books only. because the TN
state government has informed that they had prepared the SCERT books similar to the NCERT Book. so, I felt to make sure that only SCERT books is enough. And really thanks for your quick response.
Dear Student,
in case of NEET Examination SCERT books solely will not be enough, it is highly recommended that you use NCERT Textbooks as well , as it is more detailed and most of the NEET questions are asked from NCERT Textbooks. It is suggested you read portions of both 11th and 12th standard from NCERT and SCERT, but NCERT will be more helpful as it has detailed content of the subject.
