Computer Science is the study of computation -- it is a field of study, almost a branch of mathematics, not a job or a trade. Thus, there isn't really any such position as "computer science engineer." However, Software Engineers develop software and computer information systems to solve specific problems, and work using an analytical engineering methodology rather than a scientific approach that a researcher in the field of computer science might have.
