is Sona college of technology is a good college to study ECE,EEE and biomed engineering? how is the placement cell, companies and salary package?
Sona Engineering College is a leading college in Tamil Nadu. It has been rated AAA+ by Careers360 and has been ranked at 150th position by NIRF among Engineering colleges of India. In terms of Academics, this college gives tough competition to others. Facilties such as Separate hostels for male and female students, Canteen, well equipped library, laboratories, WiFi facilties, medical centre and Transport facilities are provided properly. The placements of Sona Engineering College is quite okay. CSE, IT, Electrical and Electronics departments have pretty good placement record. But the placement percentage is not so impressive for Civil and Mechanical. Very few core companies come for recruitment. CSE and It face around 67% placement record while it is more in case Electrical and ECE branches.
