It depends upon the course you want to choose, there are few courses where SP Jain will stand out and there are few courses where you would prefer MDI. But when you compare from non bias POV then the following points need to understand.

1. When you compare the location of SP Jain favours because of mumbai being the finance capital.
2. In finance , operation and IT / Consulting SP Jain is better and in marketing MDI is better.
3. SP Jain has quite hard selection process so only the best gets selected and so will be the peer group in campus.
4. Pedagogy and curriculum of SP Jain is better than MDI Gurgaon,.
5. Placements: Average package of SP Jain is 21lakh  and that of MDI Gurgaon is 18.5 lakh .

So SP Jain is better than MDI Gurgaon in many aspects. So take the decision wisely and hope this information helps you..
