Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research or SSKM is one of the best research institutions located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India which is currently affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata. SSKM institute offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and postdoctoral programs including super specialty programs in various disciplines of Medical Sciences.
Although it is mainly known for its PG courses and aslo the research centre, one can get admission in IPGMER for MBBS as well. Only 200 seats are available and one needs to have a very hig NEET score to get admission.
