Is studying ECE is worthy.what is the average salary after completing this course

Studying in ECE is worthy if you are really interested in this field .Average package depends on college that it is government college or private college.In government colleges the average package is around 7-8lpa.In private college average package is around 4-5 lpa.If you want to do government jobs in this field then you should give gate exam after completing this course and from your gate score you can get government jobs.

1. First year:subjects are common for all the branches where you learn mathematics, physics, chemistry, c programming, engineering drawing, mechanics, basic mechanics and civil.
2. Second year : all the core subjects will start from 2nd year.electronic devices and circuits, , signals and systems, digital logic design, circuit theory,computer organisation emf, electronic circuits-1,analog communications, probability theory
3. Third year : digital communications, control systems, electronic circuits-2, microprocessors, transmission lines, integrated circuits and applications, digital signal processing, communication systems, antennas and wave propagation, vlsi,
4. Fourth year:microwave engineering, computer networks, microcontroller & embedded systems, electronic measurements and instrumentation. ELECTIVES LIKE TELECOMMUNICATIONS, SPEECH PROCESSING, OPERATING SYSTEMS, ARTIFICIAL NEUTRAL NETWORKS, DIGITAL IMAGE PROCESSING, DBMS, DSP PROCESSORS, MOBILE &CELUULAR COMMUNICATIONS , SMART ANTENNAS, VIDEO PROCESSING, LOW POWER VLSI, SATELLITE COMMUNICATION, RADAR AND NAVIGATIONAL AIDS, BIOMEDICAL INSTRUMENTATION are provided in which we have to select among them of our choice .

The Scope and the salary of ECE person totally dependent upon its talent, skills, and capabilities. If you see from the perspective of a dull person, ECE has no scope. But if you see from the perspective of an intelligent person who has relevant skills in the field of ECE, can get a very good job for him whether in India or anywhere else in the world. There are several private jobs and government jobs in India for which the ECE engineers are eligible like most of the UPSC jobs, Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Airforce and other defense departments. Alongside you can apply for various technical jobs in various ministries of Indian Government. Alongside, you can get jobs in the top companies like Google, Microsoft, Intel, Wipro and etc.
