Vivekananda College is a men-only autonomous arts and sciences college in Thiruvedagam, Madurai, that is affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University. Swami Chidbhavanada founded it in 1971, and Ramakrishna Tapovanam manages it. It is India's only registered Gurukula Institute of Life Training.
When the college was reaccredited in 2014, the National Assessment and gave it a 'A' grade. There is an IGNOU study centre there. Students are encouraged to participate in IGNOU's Certificate and Degree Programs.
