See, AI and ML is a brand new branch in SIT, and I will not advise you to pursue it unless you are certain in your placement prospects. Because AI and ML is brand new to SIT, it will take time, perhaps years, to attract top candidates. If I were you, I would choose CSE since students who specialise in CS/IT have more career opportunities than students who specialise in AL or ML.

It would limit your options in the Indian IT sector if you were AL and ML. No, other than Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), there is no other college in India where AI and machine learning are good right now; in India, it will take a few more years to build a name in engineering.
