Hello Mukesh,
It is one of the best careers option if you are really interested in this and also in benefiting students.
If we look at it as a career point of view, it pays you enough and it have no limitations and you do not think about your well-settlement if you excel in it.
If we talk about the way to become to High School teacher then you have first have to some course like B.Ed and then to be high school teacher you might have to teach in middle school too firstly and after experience you will be promoted to high school.
Being High school teach can you pay you sufficient to live but if you want to earn some extra then you can teach students in your institute or coaching.
Now having said I will talk about some cons of it and way to avoid it.
Because of spread of internet and increase in reliance on online things, people are heavily shifting towards online, and in future it will keep increasing so if you are starting then you must keep in mind that if you are doing offline then you might get the same large numbers of students as because of availability of things on Internet they have lot of options.
Rest it is evergreen career option and respected one.

All the very best!!
Teaching is a noble profession, and there should be absolutely no segregation as such it's good for girls and bad for boys, apart from sharing his or her knowledge a teacher has an incredible responsibility in influencing an entire generation, starting from school level you name any field whether it's engineering, management, medical science or the importance of a teacher cannot be denied, if you have inclination towards this profession, you should absolutely go ahead, there is no such thing as a specific profession is only meant for girls or boys, this definition is changing if you look at girls choosing profession that were perhaps were not conventional a decade or more so back,
for teaching at school level, you will be required to have any teachers training program such as Diploma in Education, Diploma in Elementary Education, or BEd for which graduation is required with 50% aggregate, this may differ as per norms of the University, if you're still at school, go for integrated BSc- BEd or BA-BEd that's the best option regarding this, later on you can pursue master's degree, you can appear for CTET or state level TETs, and with master's degree if you qualify UGC NET/CSIR NET which is for science stream you can qualify for lecturership, even assistant professors are recruited at state level through SETs.
Dear aspirant,
If you are giving ugc net and applying for the post of assistant professor department so your life will be safe and secured as that would be a government job.
But if you are aiming for a private school teacher then is not a very good option because your salary will be surely less as compared to other government jobs.
So, now its solely depends on you in which stream would you choose.
