If you belong to general/open category, then you can write EAMCET exam upto age of 22 (for reserved category candidates it is 25 years). Basically, to write EAMCET candidates age should be in between 17 to 22 years. Also, you must have qualified 10+2 board exam from a recognized board.
If you are planning to attempt next year (2022) and skipping it this time for good preparation, it is definitely your choice. Ofcourse you will get more time for preparation than others, but make sure you do not lose confidence in between as many of the droppers feel like quitting in middle of the preparation.
