• Delhi School of Economics Admission are done acording to the guidelines issued by the University of Delhi.
  
  
  
• Students applying for UG courses must have scored at least 40% marks.
  
  
  
• Students who are applying for courses specializing in a subject should have passed that subject in their qualifying examination.
  
  
  
• All PG admissions are conducted through either merit or entrance. 50 % of the seats are filled with merit and the other 50% on entrance.
  
  
  
• All PG candidates must have scored 40% in UG examinations.
  
  
  
• Students applying for MA in Economics must have 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
  
  
  
• For MA Geography, candidate must have BA (Hons)/B.Sc(Hons) in Geography with 50% OR BA/B.Sc./B.Ed with 50% marks and 55% marks in Geography OR BA/BA(Hons)/B.Sc/B.Sc(Hons) with 60% marks.
  
  
  
• Admission to all M. Phil and Ph. D courses are through written examination and a Personal Interview.
  
  
  
• All M. Phil/Ph. D candidates must have studied the subject they are applying for at the qualifying examinations.
