Astronomer study about the universe and objects within it. Like planets, stars, galaxies, asteroids  black holes and other celestial bodies. They use radio and optical telescopes and space based telescope to observe and collect data.

No proper information to say an astronomer could get rich by just studying astronomy, but he could live a comfortable life. They get paid based on their working and experience.

They need to have basic skills about how to solve complex problems, conduct research and accurately analyse data. They need to have knowledge about basic maths and science. As they work with the team, they will have ability to have knowledge about specific software technology.

You can pursue astronomy even after a degree in B. TECH

Space Astronomer is good job and you have salary package upto 10 LPA it may varies when you have experience and going teaching field it also varies .

Opting course generally you have to qualify (10+2) and take Undergraduate  courses in universities some courses like  Astronomy , Astrophysics and some others courses related to aerospace fields offered in IIT's  and different Universities in india .
