HELLO TIKSHA, As you know most of the colleges announce their apllication forms for Undergraduate and post graduate courses and most of the colleges conducted entrance examination for getting admission in those colleges. DU JAT and IPM also conducted entrance exam and the detailed exam syllaabus is as under:

DU JAT entrance exam is divided into 4 sections namely quantative ability, reasoninig and analytical ability, general knowledge and general english consists of 25 questions in each sections.

Quantitative Ability- number system, integration and differentation, time and work, ratio & proportion, simple & compound interest, cirles, mensurations, quadrilateral, average, percentage, permutation & combination, fractions & decimals, geometry, profit & loss, mathematical series.

Reasoning And Analytical Ability: Time sequences, verbal analogy, word sequence, number series, term prepositions, direction and distance, number series, misssing characters.

General English: Synonum & antonym, reading comprehension, grammar and usuage, error detections, cloze test, vocabulary words, one word substutuions, pairing of words.

General Awareness: history, geography, economics, politics, science, computer, books and authors, current affairs.

IPM Entrance Test: Quantitative Ability And Verbal Ability of this exam also include some interview.

Quantitative Ability: LCM & HCF, number system, mensuration, ratio & proportion, algorithm, geometry,  mixture and allegation, data interpretation, percentage, probability, sets, quadratic equations, time,speed & distance, profit, loss & discount, ages & series, binomial theorem, time and work, equations, functions, ap,hp & gp, trignometry.

Verbal Ability: synonum & antonyum, reading comprehension, sentence correction, sentence rearrangemnet, grammar etc.

Hii Tiksha kapoor,

They are not same but they have few similarties.Both the exams are conducted and tests Logical Reasoning,verbal ability and quantitative aptitude.The procedure is also same.Written test followed by Interview.One is for entrance to BMS and another for IPM.

DUJAT has one more section in the exam Business Awareness which IPM does not.For DU JAT Mathematics is a compulsory subject in 10+2.while in  IPM it is not compulsory.
